What a great day at the 4th and 5th-grade track meet! Our Falcons had a blast, showed incredible effort, and represented Foothills with pride. We loved seeing the teamwork and encouragement all around!

Congratulations to Dominic Stosich, our 4th Grade Kindness Award recipient! His teacher shared, “Dominic is incredibly kind. He always wants to help others in the class who might need it. He never complains about anything and is incredibly hardworking. He loves to see others smile and laugh, so he is always positive and bubbly. He wants to learn, which makes being his teacher very happy. He has only been in our class since January, but he blends in seamlessly, and I can't imagine the class without him.” Great job, Dominic!
Congratulations to Keane Davis, our 3rd Grade Kindness Award recipient! His teacher shared, “Keane Davis has been a wonderful example of kindness to all students around him. He is willing to help those around him and is inclusive to every one of his classmates. When his partner is struggling with a concept he is always willing to help them understand what they need to do. He is always reaching out to those around him that need a friend and is open to everyone around him. He is a great member of our class.” Great job, Keane!

Third graders practiced cheering each other on, celebrating successes, and supporting one another in making good choices.

Fifth-grade students showed encouragement as they prepared for end-of-year testing.

Yesterday our faculty gathered to celebrate Mrs. Jumonville with a sweet baby shower! We are so excited for her as she begins this new adventure into motherhood; her little one is already so loved.
Our school is a little sweeter because of our amazing secretaries! This past week, we celebrated them with thoughtful cards, songs, and gifts to show just how much they mean to us. We feel so lucky to work alongside such incredible women!
Our annual Pond Town Invitational is next week for our fourth and fifth graders!
This week, Mrs. Marzan’s 2nd grade class turned into a team of young scientists as they explored the four different kinds of tissue in the human body: muscle, nerve, connective, and epithelial tissue. Each group became an “expert” on one type of tissue. After, they taught the rest of the class about their tissue, using their posters to explain key facts and interesting details. Mrs. Marzan’s class had fun, worked together, and discovered how our bodies work!
Mrs. Gammell's class has been learning about the earth and how it rotates around the sun. We learned that it can help us tell time by using the sun position. We made sundials and have been going out on sunny days to see if we can tell the time using our sundials.
